Outside is a nice beer garden with scenic views of the valley and town below. While it wasn't exactly an informative tour, there was something nice about strolling through the brewery while sipping a beer instead of being herded through in a large group like some other (larger) brewery tours. The brewery itself is spotless, and all employees were smiling and friendly. The beers are served in a souvenir glass. We were given our first beer and a wristband with removable tags to trade in for the additional beers. We chose the sampler deal, which included 3 small beers. Staff encouraged us to buy a beer and wander through the brewery. A wide stone staircase leads up to the entrance of the gift shop where tours begin. After the last turn a building that looks like something out of a fairy tale appears. The drive up to the brewery is along a winding wooded road. I know it's definitely the most beautiful one I've visited. This may be the most beautiful brewery in the US.
